09/02/2010-19/02/2010 - County Gang ShowCentenary Showtime! Our acts are all rehearsing and working hard to perfect their performances ready for opening night. Many girls and guiders from Strood Town District are performing, and the show is being compered by our very own hugely talented Tania, a Strood Town District Ranger and Young Leader. 03/05/2010 - Brownies take over the tracksImagine travelling back in time to the nostalgic age of the steam train. Explore parts of the UK and sample the atmosphere of this exhilarating and stimulating adventure. Smell the era of steam, hear the guard blow the whistle and you are off!With support from the Heritage Railway Association, Brownies will have the chance to travel on their own special chartered "Brownie Steam Trains" through some of the most scenic locations in the country. Special events are also being planned at destination adventures for Brownies to take part in and have fun. |

29/05/2010-02/06/2010 - Kent West Activity CampA fun camp to celebrate the centenary in a most memorable way. Guides from all over the County will join together in Division sub camps. Activities will include Archery, Rock Climbing, Zip Wire, Bungee Trampoline, Canoeing, Crate Challenge, Abseiling, Bouldering, Tunnels and Low ropes. Guides can also experience an Incident Hike (The Audrey Gunter Challenge), The Carrot Road Show and Disco, and other exciting events. |

20/10/2010 - Centenary Finale, Gillingham Football ClubPut 20:10 20/10 2010 in your diary! At 8:10pm, on Wednesday 20 October 2010, all members of Girlguiding UK will join together, along with young women from around the globe attending the first ever Young Women's World Forum, to celebrate the first fantastic 100 years of Guiding. The centenary Finale will be a chance for members to celebrate being part of the largest youth organisation for girls and young women in the UK. As we all renew our Promises together, we will launch the next 100 years of Guiding! |
